H.E. Zaki Nusseibeh, Cultural Adviser to the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), recently reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to strengthening cultural and diplomatic cooperation with the international community during their participation in the 19th Francophonie Summit in Paris.
In statements to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), H.E. Zaki Nusseibeh emphasized that this participation aligns with the strategic vision of H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. This vision focuses on cultural dialogue as a means to promote shared humanitarian values and support strong international cooperation.
The summit addressed key themes such as improving education and fostering cultural exchanges, while highlighting the importance of the French language as a vehicle for international understanding. According to H.E. Nusseibeh, culture is a powerful tool for building bridges between nations, and the UAE plays a central role by embracing this principle.
H.E. Nusseibeh also stressed that the UAE has become a model in the field of sustainable development and cultural progress. Many countries have expressed their admiration for the UAE’s advances in education, culture and innovation, and are keen to share their experience.
Citing the UAE as a global focus for cultural diversity, he explained that their approach to celebrating different cultures is what sets them apart. In his view, this globally shared cultural vision is essential to meeting today’s challenges.
