This attendance marks a 29% increase, thanks to 244 business and public MICE events organized by the DWTC.

Promising Results: A Bright Horizon for the Future
The robust recovery of the MICE industry in 2022 showcases DWTC’s strong ability to attract a significant number of exhibiting companies. In fact, over 37,000 businesses participated in its events, a 50% increase from 2021, with 72% being international companies.
DWTC experienced notable growth in its event portfolio in 2022. Focusing on attracting foreign visitors and stimulating the local economy, Dubai is emerging as a global leader in organizing business events and conferences. The Dubai World Trade Centre hosted 47 captivating events centered around entertainment, live shows, and leisure. Moreover, the Dubai World Trade Centre Authority’s free zone witnessed substantial expansion, granting 926 new licenses in 2022.
