Ras Al Khaimah is a fast-growing tourist city, offering nearly 10,000 new jobs today. To meet this demand, many hotels are being built, including the famous Wynn Resorts hotel.
The city of Ras Al Khaimah, which attracts more and more tourists, wants to pamper its guests. It is therefore important to have a qualified and experienced staff. So the race for jobs is on.
The vacancies vary from cleaning staff to chefs to hotel managers.
These vacancies show a dynamic and cultural work environment, and the salaries are as expected: attractive and competitive, which is a good representation of the hotel industry in the region.
Hotel growth in the UAE in 2023
The United Arab Emirates has had a year marked by numerous hotel openings, including the Intercontinental and the Hampton & Movenpick. The city of Ras Al Khaimah will soon see the opening of new hotels such as the Anantara in Mina Al Arab and the Sofitel hotel in Al Hamra.
At the same time, the Wynn Resorts chain will open a $3.9 billion hotel with over 1,000 rooms. Wynn Resorts is offering a children’s play area, as well as multiple features.
“In total, Ras Al Khaimah has 8,000 keys and we expect to add 450 rooms this year and more than 1,000 next year. We aim to double the number of rooms in the next five years,” said Raki Phillips, tourism development manager.
Ras Al Khaimah City confirms a recorded increase of more than 13% on the number of tourists since 2019, exceeding 1.13 million visitors.
