Four Indian expatriates have won Dh100,000 each in the latest weekly Big Ticket e-draw held in Abu Dhabi on September 29, 2023. The winners are Ajay Vijayan, Mohammed Azharul, Ashwani Kumar, and Padmanabha Koragappa Balakkila.
All four winners are residing in the UAE for many years and have been buying Big Ticket tickets regularly. They were all excited to learn about their win and expressed their gratitude to Big Ticket for giving them this opportunity.
Ajay Vijayan, a 41-year-old father of two, has been living in Dubai for over a decade. He works in the IT department and has been buying Big Ticket tickets for the past eight years.
“I am so happy and surprised to win this prize,” he said. “I have been buying Big Ticket tickets for many years, but I never thought I would actually win. I am going to use the prize money to pay off my debts and save for my children’s future.”
Mohammed Azharul, a 54-year-old project manager, has been living in Sharjah for over 20 years. He has been buying Big Ticket tickets since 2009 and this is the second time he has won a prize.
“I am so happy to win again,” he said. “I am going to use the prize money to invest in my daughter’s higher education.”
Ashwani Kumar, a 47-year-old retail worker, has been living in Ajman for over 15 years. He has been buying Big Ticket tickets for seven years and this is the first time he has won a prize.
“I am so excited to win this prize,” he said. “I am going to use the prize money to buy a new house for my family.”
Padmanabha Koragappa Balakkila, a 43-year-old sales supervisor, has been living in Dubai for over five years. He has been buying Big Ticket tickets for over a year and this is the first time he has won a prize.
“I am so happy to win this prize,” he said. “I am going to use the prize money to start my own business.”
The Big Ticket is a raffle draw that gives people the chance to win millions of dirhams in cash prizes. Tickets are priced at Dh500 each and can be purchased online or at various retail outlets across the UAE.
The Big Ticket draws are held twice a month, with a grand prize of Dh15 million up for grabs. There are also weekly draws for Dh100,000 each.
To enter the Big Ticket draw, participants must be at least 18 years old and must have a valid UAE residency visa.
